"How long have you let that Thingy in Sector 3-E stay broken? I ordered you to fix that MONTHS ago! The Ship simply can't operate with a broken Thingy!"
Really love the way you crafted this story and characters so far, it's deceptively simple with a rich overlay of character development and empathy for our would be heroes, while giving some interesting context to the apparently deluded primary antagonist, the captain.
I hope all is well with you and your family! Your interactions in the comments, choice of quotes and deft dialogue put you solidly in my folder of comic authors/artists I'd enjoy talking with in real life some day. Not likely to happen, but who knows? :)
Hey there! Thanks so much for all your great comments, they really brightened my day! I really do still want to finish the comic, and seeing someone enjoying it has given me a little push that will hopefully result in even just a few pages getting done... soon... ish? We're all doing great, thanks! That's part of the problem. My little kiddo is an absolute wild man and I can't turn my back for two seconds. >.> But it's awesome, because that's how it's supposed to be!
I have yet to meet anyone from ComicFury IRL, but hey, the world is a strange place! On ne said jamais!
Anyway, keep an eye out because no matter how long it takes, I WILL finish this comic. It's all written, I just need the ding dang time to draw it. Or a ton of money to pay someone else to draw it.
Your profile pic is amazing btw
