Oddly enough, I am almost finished reading "The Xeelee Sequence" by Stephen Baxter. "Generational starships" figure prominently in this book series, and the author goes into things like generational drift, language changes, natural selection, tribalism, societal decay, etc.

That sounds really neat!! I would have loved to delve more into those things too but the comic would be never-ending. I have to be satisfied with these little glimpses into peoples' psyches. I'll have to check that book out, though! :)
