Huh. This guy really seems to have this all figured out.

He is the chessmaster and everyone else is a mere pawn.

Ah OK, our isolated space tribe is reinventing hereditary monarchy now...

I mean there are worse things to reinvent.

Love the dialogue here, especially about what it means to be a captain. Sounds like it'd be right at home in Star Trek.

"But they'll respect the daughter of a stupid lazy oaf?"
"That's what we're hoping, yes."

I vote yes on the mutiny, but nominate Macpherson as captain and also vote we not "remove" Kalgan. I don't how he intends to get rid of Kalgan, but I don't trust him at all.

This is what happens when your bridge commander has nothing to do. You wouldn't think a hula hoop rave would make this scene more intense but it sure does.

Debbie really needs to take up knitting or something. I really needed a scene to happen at the hula hoop club, I'm so glad it worked out.

To be fair, she’s not a stupid lazy oaf. She scares me a little, sure, but hey. :p
