On its face, your reply is actually how it should be. A good wardroom operates as a team, anticipating each others' actions. However, it's pretty obvious that George Lucas here hasn't spent enough time discussing and training his officers, conveying how he'd handle a wide variety of contingencies. Essentially, he should have taught his thought process for solving problems. Instead, he's abdicated the throne resulting in mayhem.
Unfortunately, I get the feeling hiding in his room is "how he'd handle a wide variety of contingencies" and specifically how he'd prefer they handle this one.
What they need is a captain capable of providing the training you described.
Well, Roux has been using the "m" word in this comic's profile, so it's no wild prediction that at least a few of the crew agree with your second sentence.
I'd be in but I botched my Discord account and have no idea how to fix it, maybe I should just make another one.
Zuul of Ghost Busters? That's the only Zuul I know... Its voice was not layered 3 times like The Voice in Dune, it was just a grumbling, sinister voice.
(They diverted from the book "Dune", in the book it was a voice of irresistable seduction & persuasion, but since nobody would have been able to play that, they came up with this layered voice. In the book Lady Jessica said "There is no need to fight over me. I'm not worth it." While posing her body and showing that she is worth fighting over her. And they kill each other to "possess" her.)
I don't even know if I'd use Discord necessarily. I'll have to do my research. I've got a few years to think about it, this is a long comic! :D
Yeah, I meant Ghostbusters Zuul- I guess I was just thinking more the demon voice, and the lady in that Dune clip actually looked a bit Sigourney Weaver-ish.
Jennera's voice is oddly actually pretty normal (spooky, but normal). Perhaps most oddly she's voiced by the daughter of Cameron Mitchell, who played the Captain.
Jennera giving more questions than answers here. It's interesting that Mac's calling it a 'radio signal in front of the captain, when he first described it as a 'distress signal' to Kalgan.
Worst. CO. Ever.
