The Deep Freeze serves a pretty innocuous purpose in TBTS. Mostly preserving seeds for the wide variety of plants grown on the ship.

Hey, also! I'm using my Ko-fi page as a kind of hub for extras, so even if you can't/don't wanna contribute you should still check it out! I just posted a side-by-side of a page from scene 1 with one of the first pages of The Wolf at Weston Court. Besides being able to see my progress as an artist, there are some really weird similarities in how the scenes play out! Check it out here!

Can I just take this time to say... your skills of drawing background things... I am jealous amazed!

Thank you!! I've learned how to use 3d models to design my sets and it's indescribably helpful!

Does Deep Freeze work to preserve that old dude too?

Someone's past their due date for space travel.

Looks like the umbrella didn't do much to prevent him from getting drenched.... but he seems pretty happy about it xD

(Edit: I, like Alicia, am kind of jelly impressed by your backgrounds... I kinda wish I could use digital models, but that's not very possible on a sketchbook page xD)

(He kinda decommissioned the umbrella on purpose on the previous page. Which leaves the question why he brought it in the first place...)

Good point!
...and just to show off the fact that he had one, probably xD

Yeah, he wanted the whole "getting rained on" experience!

Re: models- It might still be worth a try for references! You could pull up your model onscreen and look at it while you draw. I've found references to be insanely helpful for me.

And thank you!! If you don't mind, I'd like to quote you on the back cover:

Well, that's not surprising seeing that you're running a massive fan art exchange besides keeping your own beautiful comic running!! Do you even have time to sleep? >.>

Thank you though!! <333 I'm so excited for people to see it, I've been hiding away in my lab working on it for so long DX

Awww there is something I love about how cute it is when old guys are drawn with a rounder silhouette but small hands like that ^_^
